PLEASE NOTE: School will be closed for the summer holiday to all children from 3.30pm on Tuesday 21st July.
To all parents and carers,
Currently, there are NO spaces available in any of the seven bubbles within school. For more details about this, please read this letter sent to parents on 17th June 2020.
Our school kitchen continues to ONLY provide packed lunches. Please see the menu below:
Please note that there will be NO school crossing patrol for the foreseeable future, so take extra care when crossing the road with your children.
During the next few weeks, teachers and teaching assistants will be telephoning all children not currently in school to have a catch-up chat. Home-learning activities will continue to be set for ALL year groups.
Until we are all together again: take care, stay safe and keep in touch.
Please see this link for details of the Local Authority's public statement about schools reopening in our area.
Also in line with government guidance, can I please remind all children that they are not permitted to play with any child they do not live with. I know that we are enjoying warm, sunny days and that it is very tempting to play with friends at the village playing fields and recreation grounds. However, to keep the spread of coronavirus to a minimum and to protect the NHS, we must stick to the new rules and only exercise with members of our own family.
Thank you for your understanding,
Guidance for key workers and parents of vulnerable children can be found here. Our school provision will be open for those children who absolutely need to attend; please reads through this guidance for further details.
For information and advice on how to help your children continue with their education from home, please click here to be directed to our dedicated home-learning information page.
If anyone has any safeguarding concerns during this period, you can contact Mrs Dekker on firstname.lastname@example.org. This email address is to be used only for safeguarding issues and not general questions about school.
Any updates about reopening will be posted here in due course and parents have been given email addresses to contact their class teachers for anything related to learning and homework.
We encourage you to join us in following the latest advice provided by the NHS website and Gov.uk, and do what we can to help others in these uncertain times.
It is almost that time again, for ordering school uniform for September. As usual, Mapac are our school uniform provider and we urge you all to register, even if you are not looking to order yet as you will receive regular updates and any offers available from them.
During the holiday they strongly advise, to ensure uniform is received in time for back to school, that orders are placed online by 3rd August 2020.
The free term-time delivery to school option will be added back onto our page at the end of August for parents to select with first delivery into school around 25th September 2020.

Welcome to Rocklands Primary School
On behalf of the children, staff and governors I would like to say welcome to the Rocklands Community Primary School website. We aim to present useful information here about our school, whether for existing or future school families and pupils.
Rocklands School is a lovely, rural school situated about five miles from Attleborough and is larger than it looks from the road! There are around 76 pupils in three mixed-age classes. We have a well-equipped playground and access to village playing fields.
We are happy to welcome parents who are considering placing their children in our school. You can contact the school office on 01953 483369 or email email@example.com.
We have high expectations for our pupils; they achieve and behave well. We are a small school at the heart of our community and Ofsted have graded our school as good. We continually aim to improve our provision and outcomes for pupils and feel this is summed up in our school motto:
Small School: Big Heart, Great Expectations
Please go ahead and explore our website. We're working hard to add more information; if you can't find anything please contact the school office.
