Welcome to Rocklands Primary School

Small School - Big Heart - Great Expectations

Attached below is a document with details of how we are providing remote education and the expectations for pupils, parents and carers during periods of school closure or pupil isolation relating to coronavirus (COVID-19).

Remote Education at Great Ellingham and Rocklands Primary Schools

The daily Zoom timetable for all year groups is as follows:

Every now and again other members of staff will pop into different Zoom sessions to say hello and see how you're all getting on, so if you see Mrs Dekker there, make sure you say hello!

We’re still here to support young people and families. Norfolk Safeguarding Children Partnership is reminding families not to struggle alone. Contact the Just One Norfolk support and advice line on 0300 300 0123 or log on to www.justonenorfolk.nhs.uk for a range of support, including emotional wellbeing, practical and mental health support and more.

Children born between 1 September 2016 and 31 August 2017 are due to start school in Reception in the

The easiest way for parents to apply is on-line at www.admissionsonline.norfolk.gov.uk or they can request

On behalf of the children, staff and governors, we would like to say welcome to the Rocklands Community Primary School website. We aim to present useful information here about our school, whether for existing or future school families and pupils.

Rocklands School is a lovely, rural school, situated about five miles from Attleborough and larger than it looks from the road! There are around 76 pupils in three mixed-age classes and we have a well-equipped playground, as well as access to nearby village playing fields.

Under normal circumstances, we would be happy to welcome parents who are considering placing their children in our school. However, in these uncertain and unusual times we hope you appreciate that we must keep any visits into school to the bare minimum. We know that new parents like to get a feel for the school and, with that in mind, we have put together a virtual tour to show you all that we have to offer.

Please do contact the school office on 01953 483369 or email office@rocklands.norfolk.sch.uk if you have any further questions or comments; there will always be someone happy to help with your enquiry.

We have high expectations for our pupils; they achieve and behave well. We are a small school at the heart of our community and Ofsted have graded our school as good.

We continually aim to improve our provision and outcomes for pupils and feel this is summed up in our school motto:

Small School: Big Heart, Great Expectations
